In this video, I was using my TYT UV 380 radio to monitor different DMR talk groups on the TGIF network.  On the TGIF network there’s a talk group called 777 which scans the active talk group traffic and you can listen to it directly on your radio without changing what talk group number you’re using. This is a fun feature to use when you don’t know what to listen to and you’ll always find some type of radio traffic to monitor.

I have three Meshtastic nodes out on the backyard and two are mobile prototypes. Currently I’m testing the solar draw and observing the charging cycles. I’ve been leaving these devices on and letting them stay connected to each other. I have one node inside that I use with MQTT but all the other nodes are purely RF. The goal of the mobile nodes is to run full time independent of vehicle power. So these nodes are in testing to figure out what it takes to maintain the voltage on these batteries.
